As a part of SMSM Engineers's health for all scheme, SMSM Group is planning to set up a network of 10,000 thousand primary health clinics across the country.
Due to lack of facilities and inaccessible locations have made MBBS doctors reluctant to work in rural areas. As there are 1.2 lakh villages which lack health care centres, the SMSM Group plans to prepare a fleet of ayurvedic doctors to fill these gaps.
SMSM Healthcare committee was to prepare a report to promote ayurveda and other Indian forms of medicine and make health care accessible to rural population.
